Charlie Walker

Dr. Walker brings to the Center for Alchemy a wealth of experience and expertise in many facets of counseling. With over 20 years as a therapist, Dr. Walker has worked in:
- Private Practice in Scottsdale
- Psychiatric inpatient treatment - Adult & Adolescent
- Residential Addiction treatment at a world-renowned inpatient treatment center
Along with his work at the Center for Alchemy, he is a licensed professional counselor and has his Master's degree in marriage and family therapy and his Ph.D. is in clinical psychology.
Dr. Walker has served as a clinical consultant for various treatment centers designing multiple addiction treatment programs. He has been a professor at several Phoenix area universities, sharing his knowledge, passion and expertise in the field of addictions and trauma.
As Co-Director and Co-Founder of the Center for Alchemy, Dr. Walker’s areas of primary focus at The Center for Alchemy are:
- Individual sessions
- Couple’s Co-Facilitation
- Men's issues
- Facilitation of Addiction intensive outpatient program
- Men’s Sexual Issues Group
- EMDR for trauma resolution, desensitization of addiction triggers, and other areas
